The Type of Coverage helps decide which plan is best for you. There are two types of coverage:

Medical & Evacuation Coverage: This is the most comprehensive program providing you with coverage for emergency medical expenses and evacuation costs, in addition to FrontierMEDEX’s 24-hour travel assistance services.

Evacuation Coverage Only: This option provides you with coverage for emergency medical evacuation costs, in addition to FrontierMEDEX’s 24-hour travel assistance services.

This option is for students and faculty members who are studying, teaching or researching abroad. By selecting this option, FrontierMEDEX’s Scholastic plan becomes available.

Your Country of Permanent Residence is the country in which you currently legally reside, and is not necessarily the same as your country of citizenship. This determines which FrontierMEDEX policies are available to you.

PLEASE NOTE: Medical and Evacuation Coverage is not available for use within a person’s country of permanent residence.

Choose a destination from the Country List drop down, and click Add to include in Destination List. Repeat for additional countries. To remove a selected country as a destination, highlight the country in the Destination List and select Remove.
