Michael Hartkopf
President, Global Solutions
In his current position as President of Global Solutions, Michael has overall leadership responsibilities for the
Global Solutions business, an outbound Expat solutions and services business. He recently added the
responsibilities of our FrontierMEDEX Assistance and Security Services businesses.
Michael began his career at UnitedHealth Group in 2004 as Vice President of First Sale Communications. Michael
and his team identified and implemented new technologies resulting in improved productivity internally and
enhanced responses and customer satisfaction externally. He dramatically improved the quality of reporting and
representation of Uniprise networks to customers and consultants.
Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Michael was the Executive Vice President at Convenience Learning International. His
responsibilities included directing daily operations, creating the business plan for growth and raising capital
for expansion. In addition, Michael spent six years at GE Capital where he held positions such as the Senior Vice
President of Global e-Business and Vice President of Product Marketing.
Michael received a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Psychology at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. He
also received a mini MBA in Health Care Management at St. Thomas University in Minneapolis, MN. In addition,
Michael recently completed the course "Doing Business in China" at The Gavin School of International Management,
Thunderbird University. While at GE, he completed Industry Best Practices courses in Management Development,
Six Sigma, Change Acceleration and Change Management Programs.

Charlie LeBlanc
VP Security Services
Charlie LeBlanc is the president of security services for FrontierMEDEX. He serves on numerous committees and
advisory groups, including the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Security Council, NBAA International
Operators Committee, Governor of Texas Advisory Board of Counter Terrorism and Critical Infrastructure Protection,
and the Security Executive Council Solution Innovations Advisory Board. He recently joined the Canadian Business
Aviation Association (CBAA) Board Security.
Recognized as a leading authority on aviation security and general security principles, Charlie has been quoted
in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and many other top daily newspapers around the United States. He has
also appeared frequently on CNN and CNBC. He launched his security career as a senior loss and theft manager with
Continental Airlines Cargo Division, where he developed security procedures, analyzed loss trends and authored
procedures on acceptance. Prior to joining FrontierMEDEX, he served as southwest regional manager for ITS, a
commercial aviation security firm. Charlie earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from California State
University at Long Beach.

Susan Torroella
VP Assistance
Prior to joining FrontierMEDEX, Susan was the CEO of a medical education firm supporting the major pharmaceutical
manufacturers. She was previously a senior marketing manager for Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in her
career, Susan worked for a USAID contractor in West Africa managing health programs for women and children. Susan
is the Immediate Past President of the Healthcare Business Women's Association, comprised of 6,000 leaders
worldwide. Susan has lived in Togo, West Africa, Spain, and Brazil and speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Susan has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management where she graduated valedictorian, and
has attended INSEAD and Wharton executive management programs. Susan and her husband have two sons and Susan
enjoys participating in the annual Iron Girl Triathlon.

Mike Roban
VP Global Sales
Mike has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in health services, consumer products and the travel
assistance industry, including 15 years with the Coca Cola Company and 5 years as Senior Vice President of Sales
and Marketing with International SOS. He has a proven record in the assistance industry and has significant
experience dealing with the Fortune 2500, scholastic institutions, government agencies and remote medical clients.
